Advanced Diploma Nautical Science

About the Program

The Advanced Diploma in Nautical Science is a degree-oriented maritime program that equips students with the knowledge and practical skills required to work effectively in the maritime industry. In Pakistan, the demand for qualified maritime professionals has been rising steadily, making this one of the most sought-after programs for students planning a professional seafaring career.

The curriculum provides a comprehensive understanding of navigation, ship stability, meteorology, shipboard operations, and the technical and managerial aspects of maritime practice. It is structured to provide both practical and theoretical understanding of the modern maritime industry.

The main objective of the program is to develop the competency required for cadets to carry out their duties as Officer of the Watch on board merchant ships and to meet recognized academic and certification standards.
